The active ingredient in Manna is a combination of nutrients,
amino acids and unique sugars of which two, Galactose and
Mannose are playing a very important role.
In combination they form the polysaccharide Galactomannan, which cause a gelling effect and retard the absorption of glucose from food into the blood stream.
Scientific research has shown that Manna retards the uptake
of glucose by up to 43%, thereby reducing the Glycemic Index
(GI) of the food you eat by up to 43% (in other words it has
a GI lowering effect on food).
